Sometimes things do not always work out at trial or at the administrative hearing level as the client would have preferred. Trial judges and administrative law judges are not perfect. They make their share of mistakes in interpreting and applying the law. The remedy when significant errors occur at the trial court level may be to file an appeal with the Oregon Court of Appeals or the Oregon Supreme Court. Appellate work can be confusing, time consuming and difficult. The appeal client needs an attorney with substantial trial and appellate court experience.
